Additional Program Information
Earning Potential, Expectations & Return on Investment:
To build participants skills to the level of an income earner, students need to be able to have multiple instruments from your community to work on beginning in Level 1 and beyond. While they are only required to submit their best work for projects, building their ability to build skills requires they interact with paying or non-paying ‘clients’ on a regular basis as quickly as possible on as many different instruments as possible.
You can expect Level 1 students to be able to support professional repair technicians by diagnosing repair work, doing minor adjustments and pricing repair jobs. Those who complete Level 2 will be able to do economy overhauls and be highly productive in a repair shop or of service to a music program. Those who successfully complete level 2 and beyond and will be able to earn a living with the skills they have learned from our coursework.
